Often, we are our worst critic. The media constantly tells women how they don’t measure up. Comparison is a brutal game, so we often cover up to hide from insecurities, shame, doubt, or fear. I want to capture the “real” you in a way that reminds you how beautiful you are and how so many others see you. The right lighting captures the best side of everyone in a way we don’t often see ourselves.
With the power of photo editing software, anyone can look like the cover on a magazine. But, we all know those images aren’t real. Although I edit lighting slightly, I never edit people’s bodies to be different shapes or sizes. We can set a different standard of beauty than the world around us.
Some people use a boudoir photo shoot as a chance to pamper themselves for a day and celebrate their unique beauty. Others wish to share their photos as a gift to their significant other on their wedding or an anniversary. Modeling for a boudoir photo shoot can also be a way to get out of your comfort zone and try something new. Whatever the reason, I want to be there to capture your authentic self and celebrate you!
