Hi I’m Amanda or Mandie. Most people call me Amanda, but either is just fine! Welcome to my space. I hope you feel at home. The door is always open. If I’m not home, I might be splashing in puddles, running in the rain, exploring some place new, or dancing in a parking lot. You are welcome to join in.
Apart from my day job which involves planning events and connecting with some amazing people, you will find me rollerblading, spending as much time outside as possible, blaring country music with the sunroof open on my car, going on adventures with my hubby, drinking coffee, or baking up another batch of whatever delicious treat catches my eye. I might have extra cookies leftover, and I would love to share.
I can’t wait to hear what you daydream about and to capture photos of you in a way that makes you smile…both during the photo shoot, and when you look over the images later.
It took me years to finally have the courage to create a space to share my photos. With most everyone owning a smartphone, it seems everyone is a photographer. Why add just another content creator to that number? I finally found reasons to challenge my hesitations:
Maybe…because art and beauty aren’t just about practicality.
Maybe…because someone else needs your story, and I can be part of sharing that.
Maybe…because photography offers a unique way to connect with people and learn more about their world.
Maybe…because, when the sun is just right, everything seems to come alive in a different way, and you must capture that moment.
Maybe…because you find yourself on the top of a mountain on your own wedding day…. you still spend time behind the camera. Yes, that’s me taking photos of the groomsmen. Yes, I did get married on the top of a mountain…but, that story is for another day.
